Ammophos and diammophos are considered to be medium-soluble drugs. The first is obtained by neutralizing acids, and the second is a specialized fertilizer that strengthens plants at different stages of the growing season.
No less important phosphorus-containing agent is phosphate rock. It can be purchased as a powder with a pronounced gray tint. The substance is often brown. There is no specific smell.
Phosphorus is also found in organic compounds such as vivianite, which is extracted from swamp iron ore.
Liquid forms are quickly absorbed by plants, which explains the great popularity of water-soluble formulations. However, among vegetable growers, citrate and lemon-soluble substances are in demand. Liquid phosphorus is used to eliminate the problem of deficiency of this component in the soil. It is rather difficult to determine a slight lack of a substance. At the same time, the plant may slow down its growth, and the foliage may acquire a bluish-green tint.
No less popular in vegetable growing are prepipitates containing concentrated phosphorus in an amount of 25-30%. Such dressings are suitable for all types of soil mixtures, however, you need to choose the right dosage and adhere to a number of features when applying. Fertilizer is especially beneficial when used on acidic soil.
The concentration of phosphorus in thermophosphate corresponds to the average requirements of garden crops, so this type of dressing can be used for most plants.
Cooking recipes
To prepare phosphorus fertilizer, it is recommended to use organic components containing this substance. Among them are meat, bones, corn tops and flour. The compost pit includes waste from legumes, broccoli and pumpkin seeds.
Many gardeners make a tincture of weeds. To do this, you need to prepare a 200-liter barrel, place 1/3 of the crushed herbal raw materials in it, and then fill it with water to the top. After a week of fermentation, the solution can be used as directed. Before this, 3 liters of concentrate must be mixed with 7 liters of superphosphate.
