In coniferous forests, you can find forest mushrooms. The harvest begins in July and lasts until the very first frosts. If weather conditions are favorable, then new fruits can grow after cutting in two weeks. Forest mushrooms are distinguished by a large cap and a long stem that reaches 20 cm. In juveniles, the top is with small scales and is in the shape of an egg. As soon as the mushroom starts to grow, it turns brownish brown.

If you pay attention to the lamellar part, you can see the whitish-pink plates. As soon as the ripening period begins, the cap darkens and becomes almost black.

There are also field mushrooms, they grow in parks and fields. Outwardly, the mushroom does not differ from the usual one, the cap is as large and has a slightly yellowish tint. The leg is 3 cm and can grow up to 10 cm in height. The field mushroom is distinguished by its aroma, which resembles the smell of nutmeg.

  • Wild mushrooms with a white cap are highly rated. First of all, it should be noted that they differ in their aroma. The white mushroom does not have a pure white top, but with a slight brownish tint. The color does not change when cut. Needless to say, this is a delicacy.
  • Among the mushrooms with a white cap, the milk mushroom also stands out. It grows in forests with sandy soil. The diameter of the cap is quite large, it reaches 20 cm. The leg is dense and thick. As for the taste, the milk mushroom is excellently used as an additive in sauces.
  • Honey mushrooms are distinguished by the fact that their cap is light brown in color, and they grow on deciduous trees. Each mushroom is small in size. The younger the mushroom, the lighter the cap will be.
  • In the fall, you can often find mushrooms with a light gray cap, which belong to the rowing class. The cap of such a mushroom reaches 13 cm and is presented in the form of a convex cone. The more the mushroom grows, the more wavy the cap becomes at the edges, curling towards the top. It is slippery during rains. The leg can be up to 16 cm high, thickened downwards and completely white.
