Before planting tulips, the bulbs are disinfected. Celandine is ideal for this and will serve as a growth stimulant. Make a simple tincture:
- 300 g of dried grass is poured into 10 liters of water;
- leave for 2 days.
The bulbs are soaked in liquid for 2 hours. Then they are dried and planted as usual. The infusion is not thrown away, but poured under any fruiting bush or flower.
Seedling protection
Celandine will help protect seedlings from harmful bacteria and parasites. A safe biological product is prepared from it:
- 5 chopped grass bushes are thrown into 10 liters of warm water;
- insist day;
- filter, poured into a spray bottle and moisten the seedlings.
Protecting cabbage from pests
To protect cabbage planting from caterpillars and butterflies, make an infusion. Recipe:
- several bushes of fresh celandine are cut into pieces and lowered into a bucket;
- pour water for a quarter and insist for 30 minutes;
- filter;
- the solution is sprayed with cabbage several times.
This infusion is also effective for pest control on apple and pear.
Rules for the use of celandine
A useful weed is used with caution, since it is not only a medicinal, but also a poisonous plant. When working with him, be sure to wear long-sleeved clothes, gloves, a respirator and goggles. Celandine juice and pollen can cause an allergic reaction on the skin or mucous membranes, up to and including poisoning. Precautions will not be superfluous, as plants with concentrated active substances often behave aggressively.
