Geranium, or pelargonium

The flower has a pungent odor that repels insects and cleans the air of bacteria. There are many varieties of pelargonium with different colors of flowers, and they are all very beautiful.

She is photophilous, needs abundant watering in summer, but does not like waterlogging. In winter, watering should be rare. The best soil for geraniums is a mixture of turf, humus and leafy greens.

You should not plant the plant in a pot that is too spacious, because then the green mass will develop, and the flowers will not form.

Begonia

This plant, when properly cared for, is covered in colorful flowers all year round. No wonder its name is translated from Latin as always flowering begonia (begonia semperflorens). It is undemanding to soil composition and temperature, but light-requiring.

Balsam

The people call it a light for the bright flowers with which it is covered from June to October. Photophilous plant, but cannot stand direct sunlight. Feels great in artificial light. On hot days, it requires spraying.

Once every 3-4 years, you need to transplant balsam for better flowering.

Fuchsia

From early spring to late autumn, it blooms with very beautiful inflorescences. In the summer, it requires frequent and abundant watering, and in the winter it is rare, since it sheds its leaves in the winter.

During the flowering period, it is better not to move the flowerpot to another place, since the buds of the plant can fall off due to stress.

Abutilon

This plant is also called indoor maple, as its leaves are very similar to maple leaves. Requires constant lighting, regular but moderate watering. In order for the plant to bloom for a long time, it must be fed with potassium nitrate and superphosphate.

Hibiscus

Another name for the flower is Chinese rose. This evergreen plant blooms with large red, white or pink flowers. It can grow up to 2 meters. Loves the sun, abundant watering and feeding.

Clivia

It has dark green long leaves, in the middle of which an inflorescence of bright orange buds forms at the end of winter. The buds then turn into flowers that look like a bell. There can be up to 30 of them.

This plant is shade-tolerant. If you feed it with mineral fertilizers, then its flowering can last all spring, and then, after a short break, start again in the summer.

All these plants do not require much effort and time to maintain, but decorate our home with their beautiful flowers all year round.
