It is no secret that plants grown for sale or purchased should not grow in the same soil where they were before purchase. This rule must be observed, guided by the fact that to heighten the appearance, sellers treat roses with special fertilizers that help the flower to bloom as quickly as possible. After the conditions have changed, this flower simply ceases to receive the dose of stimulants that was before and begins to lose its appearance. To avoid this, the plant must be transplanted immediately after purchase.
Preparation
Before transplanting, you need to prepare the flower itself. Rinse the rose thoroughly with soapy water and rinse it thoroughly. Also watch the temperature, it should not exceed 40 degrees. Otherwise, the risk of damage to fragile leaves increases significantly. Also place the pot of earth in a container of water and hold it there for about 30 minutes.
After the plant has undergone the procedure with water, it is strongly recommended to process the bush itself with a solution based on the "Epin" preparation. This provides stable growth stimulation and strengthens the plant's immunity, which is important for keeping at home.
The solution itself is prepared by mixing five drops of "Epin" and a liter of water. The plant itself is covered with a plastic bag on top, and so that it contacts the petals as little as possible. You can use a simple pencil or stick construction to avoid any contact of the bag with the flower itself.
Also, do not forget that when processing "Epin" the plant should not be left without airing. Increase the airing time continuously, starting at 5 minutes. After the buds have wilted, remove them from the plant and remove the cellophane. At this stage of preparation comes to an end and you can proceed with the transplant itself.
What is necessary?
Prepare the following materials in advance:
- A pot of the required size. You can take both ceramic and plastic.
- Fertile soil
- Drainage material
Consider the fact that the size of the pot should be several centimeters larger than the native pot where the rose grew. Thanks to this, you will be able to ensure the comfortable growth of the rose without any injury to it. If you choose a larger volume, then you will force the plant to grow actively, and you will lose the buds that make the rose so beautiful.
The substrate itself is strongly recommended to buy only from trusted manufacturers in specialized stores.
Instructions
Carefully remove the rose from the old pot. Next, immerse the roots of the plant in warm water. Thanks to this, you will be painless for the flower to rid it of unnecessary chemicals and hard lumps of earth. Then the process follows in several stages:
- Drainage is poured into the bottom of the pot
- A bush is installed on top and the soil is filled up, while gradually compacted
Leave at least two centimeters to the brim. Do not immediately water the flower, as it needs time to adapt to the new space. Place the rose on the southeast side of the window or in the lightest spot in your apartment. Watering is done from below, water is poured into a pan under the pot. With the right transplant and comfortable conditions, he will soon dissolve luxurious buds that will delight your eye for more than one year.
