The summer season in the vicinity of the capital begins long before the moment when the snow melts. The completion of all work on the personal plots occurs at the end of October. The warm interval is very short in duration, and during this time it is necessary to plant, grow and harvest.

Calendar and moon phases
The landing calendar for 2020 for the Moscow region takes into account not only the position of the satellite, but also the climate of the region. Therefore, the terms indicated in it are as accurate as possible.
Distribution of work by month
The following works are carried out on the site:
- There are few worries in January. At this time, they make sure that tree branches do not break under the weight of the snow. Also, snow is poured into the near-trunk zone to protect the roots.
- In February, seed preparation begins. Containers and growth stimulants are being purchased.
- Planting of seedlings begins in March. After the sprouts appear, a pick is made. Some plant species are transferred to the greenhouse.
- April is one of the busiest months. During this period, sprouts are planted under the film and a layer of additional shelter. Pruning is also carried out, fruit trees are planted. Crown formation is performed.
- May. This month, heat-loving crops are planted in open ground. Preventive treatment against pests and diseases is carried out.
- June. Landings continue. Vegetables and fruit trees and bushes are grown. The Moscow region differs from more southern regions in that night frosts may return here until the middle of the first month of summer. Therefore, before the 15th, it is undesirable to plant seedlings in open ground.
- July and August. A second wave of fast-growing vegetables is planted. These include those plants that do not need a long day of light. Harvesting begins during these months if the summer is cold. If you tighten the collection work, then the root crops will die.
- September and October. Collect everything that is still left in the ground and in the trees with bushes. They begin to improve the condition of the soil by feeding them with fertilizers. Shrubs and tree branches are cut.
- November. Sowing of winter crops is carried out. Plants are prepared for wintering. They cover flower beds with perennial varieties, protect young trees from rodents. The remains of plants and foliage are removed. Prepare a compost heap.
- December. At this time, there is a break in work on the site.
Relationship between the phases of the moon and the state of plants
Many processes occurring inside living organisms depend on the position of the moon. For 28 days, the Earth satellite goes through 4 phases. Depending on them, various manipulations with plants are performed.
For example, on a new moon, the activity of the processes taking place in plants slows down significantly. During this period, they are not engaged in planting and pruning. Weeding, processing of the garden and vegetable garden from pests and diseases is allowed.
With the growing moon, metabolic processes are very active. The chance of root damage is extremely low. Most procedures are allowed. Including:
- planting cucumbers, peppers, melons, herbs, fruit trees, flowers, medicinal herbs;
- transfer;
- garter;
- excavation;
- fertilization.
The full moon is always associated with harvesting, preparing fruits and vegetables for storage. It is impossible during this period to loosen the earth, to plant crops.
During the waning moon, the movement of substances towards the roots prevails. During this period, plants cannot be transplanted. But weeding is allowed, the division into parts of perennial plants, watering and feeding.
