Planting and leaving

If the technology of planting shoots in the ground is violated, it will not be possible to achieve excellent external characteristics of the shrub, its long flowering. The most suitable conditions are provided if the soil is well moistened. Sunny areas are chosen for planting, since the viburnum does not tolerate thick shade. But constant exposure to direct sunlight will negatively affect the plant. It is better to plant a shrub like Buldenezh in partial shade.

Planting the plant should be carried out in the absence of a bright sun (when it is cloudy). The sufficient size of the pit is 1.5x1.5 m. A layer of stones mixed with sand is laid on the bottom. For feeding, compost with soil is used, complex fertilizer is added, as well as ash. Half of the mixture is used as a base for planting seedlings. At the last stage, the soil is moistened, mulched.

In the spring, the plant is pruned. At the same time, the damaged, frozen branches of the viburnum are removed. The Buldenezh bushes need care in the fall. In this case, the main task is to remove infected branches. At the end of autumn, the crown shape is also being corrected, which will preserve the attractiveness of the bush. At the same time, the top of the trunk is cut off. As a result, the plant height will decrease to the desired level.

To control the growth of the shrub, shoots emerging from the roots are removed. If you leave them, all the forces will go to the development of these branches, as a result, the flowering intensity will decrease. It is possible to avoid the development of infection and promote the correct growth of Buldenezh viburnum if the cut sites are treated with copper sulfate, garden pitch. Fertilizers should be applied no earlier than 2 years later.
