For strawberries to grow large and sweet, you should create favorable conditions for planting and growth, plant them correctly and then provide optimal care. The berry loves light, warmth, sufficient watering.
The beds should be placed from north to south so that as much sunlight as possible falls on them. In the shade, the plant will wither, often suffer from fungal diseases. The berries will be small and sour.

Technique for planting strawberries under film or spunbond
The selected coating option is spread onto the surface prepared for planting. Shallow grooves must be made along the edges of the beds in order to secure the material, sprinkling the edges with earth. Spunbond or film can be fixed with pins made of strong wire.
To provide the plant with enough light, air and easy care, the distance between the rows should be 50-60 cm, and the bushes should be at least 40 cm.
The algorithm for planting strawberries is as follows:
- Using twine and a measuring tape, mark the places of the rows and make cruciform cuts with a sharp knife.
- Holding the edges of the incisions with one hand, use a spatula to dig out small holes and spill them with water.
- Then strawberry seedlings are planted from the containers together with an earthen clod into the hole and sprinkled with soil. It is necessary to check that the apical bud of the plant is level with the surface. Otherwise, the bush will die.
- Water the strawberries well after planting.
- The edges of the cuts of the coating should be straightened near the planted plants, tightly covering the soil.
