A step-by-step recipe for an easy beetroot dish

There are many options for vinaigrette, vegetable snacks. For example, beet salad requires the following ingredients:

  • beets - 2-3 small root crops;
  • sauerkraut - 250 g;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • onions: green - a bunch, onions - 1 pc.;
  • salt, pepper - to taste;
  • garlic - 1-2 cloves;
  • fresh herbs: parsley, dill;
  • unrefined vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp. l.
Beets and carrots should be boiled in advance for 25-40 minutes and cooled in cold water. These vegetables can be baked in foil in the oven.

You can buy sauerkraut at the store or make your own. To do this, you should prepare products such as:

  • 1 large head of cabbage;
  • sugar and salt - 1 tbsp each l .;
  • carrots - 2 pcs.;
  • 1 liter of water;
  • black pepper;
  • Bay leaf.

The head of cabbage should be cleaned of dirty top leaves and finely chopped. Grind carrots and mix with cabbage. Place the chopped vegetables in a 3-liter jar and condense. The algorithm for making beetroot salad is simple:

  • Place the chopped vegetables in a bowl and stir.
  • Onions should be peeled and chopped with a sharp knife. Add to the dishes with vegetables, the sweetish taste of which somewhat neutralizes its pungency.
  • Finely chop the green onion.
  • After measuring the required amount of sauerkraut, squeeze the product out of excess brine and send it to a common container. Season with salt to taste, add black pepper and mix well.
  • Season the salad with fragrant sunflower oil and refrigerate for an hour.
  • Garlic must be peeled and chopped, added to the rest of the ingredients.
