Why you shouldn't "pull" other people's cars not with your own cable

On the question of whether it is worth helping others on the road, domestic motorists are divided into two large groups. The first one believes that it is better, in principle, to never help anyone, so as not to earn unnecessary problems on your neck. The second group is convinced that there are still more decent people and everyone needs help along the way. In any case, both of them should be aware of why it is not worth "pulling" other people's cars not with your own towing cable.

As you might have guessed, the problem lies in the fact that the motorist can be “pulled on a cable”, as a result of which an innocent and unsuspecting person gets money. This fraudulent scheme on the roads of the country is by no means new; it has been practiced not even for years, but for decades. You can face such criminals both in summer and winter. The principle of divorce is quite simple.

Fraudsters stop their car on the side of the road, trying to choose places from which, by definition, are difficult to leave. Such areas, for example, include various depressions. After that, the criminals begin to vote, hoping to catch someone passing by. An unsuspecting kind soul who decides to stop is asked to help - pull the car out of a problem area or just pull it. At the same time, they immediately slip a cable, which they offer to use.

After connecting the machines with a cable, at the first effort and an attempt to move from a place, the cable breaks. This happens even when pulled or pulled by an experienced mechanic who understands how to do everything right. And since a significant part of motorists are aware that a new cable can burst during the first use, it will no longer be difficult to break a person for money after an accident.

As a rule, fraudsters demand from 1 to 5 thousand rubles for a torn cable, while its cost most often does not exceed 500 rubles. Many unprepared or simply too decent people try to "resolve the issue on the spot" and give their money to scoundrels. In reality, even if the cable breaks, you shouldn't get lost in such a situation. First of all, we call the traffic police, whose employees will record the incident. After that, we tell the owners of the cable that all issues will be resolved in court after the examination of the product. If you have to deal with fraudsters, then most often they prefer to "merge" even before the arrival of the police.
