Difference between AGM and gel batteries for cars
There is no gel in AGM batteries. Here special "mats" are used, which are saturated with electrolyte. And it is not in the form of a gel in such batteries, as some mistakenly think.
Gel batteries, on the other hand, are different. GEL technology involves pouring a special gel into the space between the plates. It hardens to form a highly porous material. The pores contain electrolyte.
Do you feel the difference? She is principled. And to call AGM batteries gel (and even more so helium, like some) is wrong.
