In modern multi-apartment housing construction, a nodal wiring diagram has been adopted. The benefits of such a scheme are obvious:

  • when implementing a centralized system with a single closet even at the floor level with four or more apartments the number of machines in it will become so large that normal wiring management simply cannot go speech;
  • the presence of an internal individual apartment panel, Figure 1 allows each owner to control wiring independently, and all his erroneous actions will be localized exclusively within his apartments.

In this case, we will restrict ourselves only to that part of the star-shaped structure, which is used to connect the floor panel with the intra-apartment panel.

When creating it, the following main tasks are solved:

  • selection of the type of lead-in cable;
  • laying this cable between the shields;
  • connection of shields to automatic machines.

What is advisable to use as an input cable

The lead-in cable forms the basis of the linear part of the connection of the two panels. In terms of performance, this product must comply with applicable standards, it is highly undesirable that it does not become a weak link in the electrical network. In addition, reasonable money must be spent on its purchase.

When choosing a cable, it is advisable to proceed from the following considerations:

  • the cable must have three cores;
  • in terms of fulfilling fire safety standards, you can dwell on the good old VVGng, Figure 2 or its analogues; VVGngLS, PvPGng-HF, as well as NYM are considered as such;
  • the choice of the cross-section of the conductors, which actually determine the cost, is advisable to carry out from the nominal value of the floor board machine The relevant information is presented in the table

When switching to analogs, the cross-section of the cores should not change.

Cabling

The cable can be laid in two ways.

According to the first of them, a regular channel is used, which is provided from the shield niche directly to the apartment.

In the second case, this channel forms independently.

Here are the options:

  • drill the corresponding hole yourself (most likely, it will not work, because you need a long drill and a powerful hammer drill);
  • lay a plastic channel with a size of at least 40 × 40 mm for ease of cornering and drill the wall in the right place.

Cable connection

In the floor panel, the cable is connected with the machine de-energized with colored cores to the contacts of this machine. A grounding conductor with yellow-green insulation is led directly to the grounding plate of the shield.

The cable is inserted into the apartment panel from above so that it immediately approaches the general machine without bends (usually this is the left side of the panel). The importance of observing this rule is determined by the high rigidity of the cable due to the large cross-section of the conductors. The connection is carried out in the same way as for the floor panel.

The correctness of the laying and connection is checked after turning on the floor panel machine with a probe screwdriver, Figure 3 by the presence of a phase at the input of the main machine and at its output after inclusion of the latter.

Conclusion

Connecting an apartment to a floor board is a technically quite simple operation, which:

  • carried out using a conventional tool;
  • in essence, it is not much different from connecting an outlet inside an apartment.

The only difficulty is the high rigidity of the cable.

So the implementation of this procedure is within the power of any head of the family with minimal skills at the level high school physics course, as well as compliance with the rules regarding the colors of the insulation of the veins and a certain accuracy.
