Hello!

My name is Pavel Shelyagin. I am a designer and co-owner of a furniture store. I have been cooperating with my furniture assemblers for several years. Once my friends asked me: "How much do they earn from you?" And I don't know, they work not only for me. Someone manages to visit 5-6 orders per day, and someone even two a week is enough.

Once I got into a conversation with one of them, Sergei Semenov. He has been working as an assembler for 12 years. He asked in a friendly way how much you can earn on assembly and how to predict income if it is different all the time.

He said that his income had fluctuated a lot in the past, and it was difficult to guess in what months and how much he could earn. But now everything has changed: there is a stable good income, he can get a loan, promote his services more actively and not be afraid of deception on the part of customers.

I even wondered what kind of miracle happened. It turns out that he just started working officially. I was very surprised: this is a rarity for such masters. I don’t remember that I called the same plumber or electrician home, and he would give me a check. Sergei said that now it has become easier to get out of the shadows when the tax on professional income, that is, self-employment, has appeared.

Here is what he said: “Before, I was not officially registered anywhere and asked for payment in cash. There was a case when I collected a complex order in a private house for eight hours. The hostess left for her business, did not leave the payment, and forgot her phone at home. I waited for her for several hours and eventually went home, angry, hungry and without money. It's hard to imagine this now.

Since 2019, a tax regime has appeared for people like me: people who work for themselves, but do not have employees. Self-employment or professional income tax is called. In April of this year, I myself decided to try what it is. I went to the Sberbank application, found the Svoye Delo service and became self-employed in 5 minutes. I also got a package of free useful services. "

The pros of self-employment

I heard about self-employment, but was not interested. I myself have been working as an individual entrepreneur for a long time and everything suits me. But he asked for more details.

It turns out that the tax for self-employed is only 4% if you collect furniture for a private client, and 6% if the order came from a company or individual entrepreneur. Each self-employed state provides 10,000 rubles to pay part of the tax: until they are spent, you need to pay 2% and 4%, respectively. This year, all self-employed people received another 12,130 rubles bonus, which fully covers Sergey's tax in recent months, and not just lowers the rate.

The work is quite simple: there is no reporting. You do not have to pay insurance premiums, it is not an obligation. Received money, made a check in the application, sent it to the customer. And if there are no orders, then there is no tax. I even envied me a little: I need to submit reports and pay insurance premiums anyway, even if there was no income.

Why Sergey's income has grown

The collector's income depends on the furniture market as a whole and has a seasonality. In summer and until the end of winter there are many orders, right after the New Year it is dull. In different months, the collector can receive from 10,000 to 120,000 rubles. But over the past year, Sergey's income did not fall below 60,000 rubles a month.

At first, I didn't understand how white work affected income. On the contrary, an additional item of expenditure appeared - taxes. The main plus is that Sergey can now officially cooperate with furniture factories, and not only with individuals. Thanks to this, he can predict his income and always knows how much money he will receive.

He also may not be afraid of the tax authorities and actively advertise his services. I just have to be happy for him.
