Designer Evgeniya Shimkevich designed a 39 m² one-room apartment in a 1973 building. The customer bought an apartment for her daughter. The girl has not yet entered into an independent life, and therefore they decided to rent out the living space. They tried to make the interior more versatile, but taking into account the wishes of the future hostess.

  • total area: 39 m²
  • House type: building built in 1973
  • A place: Samara
  • Who lives here: girl

The apartment was redeveloped, forming a kitchen-living room. In the back, they set up an isolated bedroom. As a result, the space was filled with plenty of natural light and air.
The palette was partly made up of those shades that were present even during the first tenants. In particular, light green, mustard, sky blue. So, even before the start of the renovation, the designer and the customer managed to "catch" traces of old paint on the dilapidated walls.

Living room

Against the background of the calm decoration, blue accents stand out - a sofa and a painting by Alla Mytsu. Wicker furniture was harmoniously integrated into the atmosphere. So, an armchair and an ottoman from IKEA appeared in the living room.

Bedroom

The corner of the bedroom protruding forward was cut off so that the view of the cozy living room immediately opened from the corridor. A door was installed at this place.

The walls were covered with wallpaper for painting Milassa, after which they were given a natural soft light green color. The natural range was supported by "sunny" curtains.

The motif of flowing fabrics was complemented by an accent chandelier and a macrame composition from Vera MacrameArt.

Hallway

One of the walls in the hallway was highlighted with Milassa wallpaper with geometric patterns. Another catchy accent was a poster depicting the poetess Anna Akhmatova by Nadia Ilyina.

Bathroom

In the bathroom, San Marco paint was used for the walls. The wet areas were highlighted with brighter Kerama Marazzi tiles and mosaics.
