  • Building type: house built in 1959
  • A place: Moscow
  • Who lives here: married couple with a cat

The apartment was made in a harmonious combination of Scandinavian tones - white, light gray, as well as shades of natural wood.

Kitchen

A set with glossy fronts looks almost weightless due to color. The apron, laid with wood grain porcelain stoneware, complemented the scandi style and aesthetically connected the kitchen with the living room.

The sink was moved to the window to make washing the dishes more comfortable.

The window sill, lowered in the niche of the countertop, was decided to be used as a spacious planter for plants.

The round dining table easily turns into a semicircle and, together with the sofa, marks the border between the kitchen and the living room. The TV can also be easily viewed from here.

Hallway

The hallway has dissolved into a single room, but retained its functionality.

A wardrobe for casual outerwear and shoes was integrated into a niche and concealed by a hidden door.

Bedroom

A transparent partition in the bedroom was equipped with blackout curtains for better sun exposure. The wall behind the bed was decorated with a painting and an asymmetrical composition of lamps.

The wide window sill was turned into an additional relaxation area. The slopes were surrounded by a reliable wooden structure. The surface was softened with a mattress and pillows.
