Designer Irina Tatarnikova designed a small two-room apartment in Moscow in a modern style for a family with a child.

In order to accommodate all the necessary functionality for three people in the apartment, a sleeping place was equipped in the living room and zoning was done.

  • total area: 50 m²
  • Number of rooms: 2
  • Building type: house built in the 60s
  • Ceiling height: 2.55 m
  • A place: Moscow
  • Who lives here: married couple with daughter 10 years old
  • Budget: 3 million
  • Designer: Irina Tatarnikova

They decided to allocate a small room entirely for a nursery, so the living room was equipped so that at night it could turn into a bedroom for parents. In addition, the customers wanted a small work area in the room.

The family prefers bright, rich colors, so the design palette is varied. For the decoration of some rooms, bold, rich colors were chosen.

A fold-out sofa was installed in the living room, which transforms into a comfortable bed for parents.

A mini-office was equipped behind it. The black writing desk interacts with an open display cabinet and a battery painted over an old peeling layer.

Brickwork was exposed at one of the walls, which was also thickly covered with bright red paint. A mini-gallery was placed along it, compositions in gold frames were illuminated with movable searchlights.

The girl's room was made in a calm light olive color. The gamut in the room is saturated with brighter colors of textiles and upholstery of chairs.

The accents are the images on the walls, painted mainly in blue tones.

The kitchen area is only 5.2 m², but the customers wanted to accommodate everything they needed. An additional obstacle was a wall with a corner and a pipe.

As a result, they decided not to do the plasterboard cladding, but instead painted the brickwork. Thus, we managed to win back a few centimeters in the total area.

The headset was designed independently, since the standard modules did not make it possible to place everything you needed.

The bathroom has taken on a pale pink color. The sink area was highlighted with large brick mosaics. It echoes the shade of the walls, which are also decorated with a bright fish print.
