The apartment has an unexpected layout, which makes it possible to comfortably organize a small space.

The designer designed a keel-shaped passage that connected the entrance area to the opposite corner of the apartment. Now the eyes immediately open a "hospitable" view of the living room with a dining table, and not the narrow corridor to the kitchen as before.

  • total area: 38 m²
  • Number of rooms: 2
  • Building type: 1970s house
  • A place: Moscow
  • Who lives here: pensioner
  • Budget: 1.2 million rubles
  • Designer: Irina Krasheninnikova

The boundaries between the rooms were made more shaky with the help of wide passages. This allowed more air and volume to enter the apartment.

The choice of style reflects the memories of the 70s of the last century. That is, about the time of the customer's youth.

Living room

The seating area is highlighted on both sides by tall narrow mirrors. The theme of reflection is supported here by massive vessels made of colored glass.

An important place is given to the library. A light transparent bookcase was built into a niche and occupied the entire wall.

In the center, closer to the kitchen aisle, an elongated dining table was placed, at which the hostess could sit with several guests.

Kitchen

The kitchen has acquired a darker tone due to the rich shades of the headset and apron. Cabinets with glossy fronts were placed in a united front.

A washing machine was also built in, which did not find a corner in the bathroom. The refrigerator fits into a niche organized from part of the corridor. As a result, there was room for a small table where the hostess can now have breakfast.

Bedroom

A 3D-paneled accent wall enlivens the tranquil bedroom. They form unusual shadow patterns in light.

A lot of ceramics, colored glass, textiles and images in high frames were used as decoration.

The curbstone opposite the bed refers to the Soviet interior and reinforces the connection with the style of the 70s.

Bathroom

A combined bathroom was made from tiny separate rooms. Thanks to this, it was possible to freely fit the bathroom.

Hallway

The motive of reflection begins to play up immediately from the entry zone. It's not only the mirror, but also the unusual cut glass seat.
