The idea for a million: to arrange a studio of 40 m² in the loft style for rent, and then sell it to a future tenant

The customer, who initially purchased the apartment for the purpose of investment, hoped to get a stylish and modern space as a result.

It was necessary to design the studio so that the potential client wanted to stay in it.

  • total area: 40 m²
  • Number of rooms: Studio
  • A place: Moscow
  • Who lives here: for short term rental.
  • Budget: 3-3.5 million rubles
  • Designer: Pavel Sobolev
At the same time, the owner completely trusted the designer, giving him freedom of action in choosing a design. The choice fell on a modern loft style. The apartment has acquired a calm tone - gray shades combined with wood, accents were made by elements referring to the Italian tradition.

Living room

The room was divided into a recreation area and a bedroom. Also, a workplace was allocated here.

The recreation area was outlined with a carpet in the form of an animal skin. A fireplace was installed opposite the wicker sofa next to the TV.

The exposed concrete wall forms the basis of the leading style. The dresser under the TV adds a vintage accent.

The bed was taken to the opposite side of the room. The bedroom is highlighted by an entire wall drawing, which also partially extends to the ceiling. It refers to the traditions of classical Roman art.

Both areas have individual main lighting. In both cases, high chandeliers made in the form of spheres were selected.

A mini-cabinet was set up in the corner by the bed. It was marked with a gray-blue wall.

Kitchen

The compact kitchen is designed as a showcase. The walls have been completely tiled with mosaics and the floor with white tiles, which also penetrate the recreation area.

Bathroom

Stone and wood were widely used in the decoration of the bathroom. The wood panels on the floor form a separate strip, which is continued on the walls and ceiling.

Instead of a bathroom, a spacious shower room was equipped in the room.

Hallway

Part of the corridor was occupied by a dressing room. It is hidden by sliding doors with frosted glass panels.

The ceiling in the hallway, as well as partially in the recreation area, is decorated with wooden elements, reminiscent of beams from the Mediterranean style.
