  • Dec 15, 2020

The free layout allows you to proceed from the hallway to the living room and then to the bedroom without opening a single door.

The last two zones are separated by a retractable partition, so the bed can now be easily hidden when needed.

  • total area: 55 m²
  • Number of rooms: 2
  • A place: Moscow
  • Who lives here: young girl
  • Budget: 4.5 million rubles
  • Designer: Evgeniya Matveenko (Flatsdesign)
  • Stylist: Ekaterina Naumova

The varied, but generally calm palette was partly inspired by Moscow panel houses with blue accents on the facades that are visible from the window.

Living room

The decoration of the living room complements the marine range. The recreation area resembles a beach with plants.

The accent color of the upholstered sofa associatively refers to the image of a bottle with a message, which was washed to the shore by waves.

Kitchen

These same "sea waves" are heard from the kitchen. It is marked by a ledge of the wall, behind which a mini-dining room and a small seating area were equipped.

The latter suggested itself, since in this part of the apartment a wide window sill was attached to the high panoramic window.

A laconic kitchen set was installed as a united front. The ceiling was lowered a little in order to smoothly integrate the furniture into the resulting niche. This prevents dust from accumulating on the upper cabinets. They also decided to cover the floor in the kitchen with a solid engineering board, so as not to crush the compact space with various coatings.

Bedroom

If necessary, the bedroom can be closed with a transparent partition and covered with roller blinds. They are fixed to the ceiling and can be controlled from the remote control.

The design of the bedroom continues the sand theme. The wall behind the headboard was highlighted with oak veneer panels.

Bathroom

In the bathroom, they decided to avoid open shelves, which often show clutter. For this, a mirror cabinet was placed in a niche above the sink. Also, special corners for shampoos and other things were equipped inside the shower.

Guest bathroom

The additional bathroom is done in dark colors, which is reminiscent of the interior of the hotel or restaurant.
