Designer Alexandra Nikulina designed a 65 m² kopeck piece with a spacious kitchen-living room for a young couple with a child. The apartment is designed in a light classical style. The interior was supplemented with oriental elements and items from an antique shop.

  • total area: 65 m²
  • Number of rooms: 2
  • A place: Moscow
  • Who lives here: family with child

Light oriental motives appeared in the decor. In addition, in building the design they relied on Soviet interiors, which manifested itself in the choice of herringbone parquet, and the style of American classics.

Kitchen-living room

Arben window textiles with pheasant print were the starting point of the design project. The ornament is supported by pillows in the seating area.

The white radiator in the absence of tulle was too conspicuous, and therefore it was beaten with a dark shield from Leroy Merlin.

A vintage chest of drawers was decorated with an unusual paint. Monochrome rectangular compositions were hung over it, the upper one brought a dotted color accent to the interior.

The dining group was placed close to the sofa. A conditional border was drawn here between the living room and the kitchen.

The facades for the headset are made of solid wood. They arrived with a panel, but not yet processed. So they were sanded and painted white.

Bedroom

A lot of textiles were used in the bedroom. In particular, at the expense of the dressing room, which was outlined with a curtain screen.

In the room we used a tone-on-tone interior technique. So, textiles mimic the color of the walls.

The room develops the theme of birds, set by the curtains in the living room. It is read in the table lamp posts and paintings on the opposite wall.

Children

With accents of yellow and blue, the nursery began to look pretty bright despite the neutral gray finish.

The bed was purchased from IKEA. It was originally white. To prevent the interior from being boring, they decided to paint it. The same was done with the cabinet fronts. Complex curtains were selected taking into account the new shades introduced into the interior.

Hallway

In the entrance area, the built-in wardrobe was played unusually. It was painted in the color of the walls, adding a little glossy effect, and decorated with slats and brushes.

Bathroom

The wet areas in the bathroom were tiled. And those places where water does not fall were covered with paint. So it was possible to get rid of excessive cold sterility.
