Designer Oleg Romanov designed a kitchen-living room, an entrance hall and bathrooms in a three-ruble note with a total area of 72 m² for a young married couple with two small children. A single space was zoned, providing all the necessary functionality.
- total area: 72 m²
- Number of rooms: 3
- Building type: building from the times of the USSR, a former factory dormitory
- A place: Nizhny Novgorod
- Who lives here: family with two children
- Budget: 1.7 million rubles
- Designer: Oleg Romanov
The customers broke the wall between the kitchen and the living room on their own, after which the question arose - how to proceed with these rooms, as well as the hallway and small bathrooms? To solve it, the owners turned to the designer for help.
He was faced with the task of zoning a single living space and providing all the necessary functionality. As a result, an open space was organized, passing from the kitchen of 10 m², through the dining room, to the living area of 23 m².
Living room
Neutral light finishes were diversified by furniture of a more intense color - a sofa and an armchair in the sitting area and chairs in the mini-dining room.
The modern style, referring mainly to Scandi, has been diluted with classical elements. In particular, chairs, completely covered with covers.
Kitchen
The island between the kitchen and the living room visually divided the zones and became a convenient place for breakfast. From here you can watch the TV in the kitchen.
A compact sofa was placed in the part of the window opening in the kitchen. Previously, there was a niche for cooling products, which were typical for Khrushchev.
The apron was trimmed with tiles, repeating the diamond pattern of the wallpaper. The facades for the cabinets were selected glossy, visually somewhat "dissolving" the roomy set in space.
Hallway
The walls in the hallway were also decorated with geometric rhombuses. However, here they are presented in a more saturated color.
To save space in the bathroom, the washing machine was taken out into the corridor. It was built into a niche, hidden behind a wooden door.
Bathrooms
In the bathroom, part of the brick walls were removed and partitions were made of moisture-resistant plasterboard. So I managed to gain a little in the area and place a full bath.
Here, against the backdrop of the white trim, the accent green corner looks even richer. It is complemented by a border of contrasting tiles around the perimeter.
The toilet was placed in a light tone. The effect of excessive sterility was avoided due to the use of various textures and shades of tiles.
