In order not to extend the window sill, you can simply place a table next to the window of the same height as it. This technique will increase the work surface. However, do not forget to pay attention to the neighborhood with batteries. Most likely, you will have to think about installing heat regulators.
4. Rest zone
A fairly common choice is to use the windowsill as a place to relax. You can put a mattress and pillows on it. It is easy to supplement such a corner with poufs and create a full-fledged place for gatherings with friends or family.
This solution fits perfectly into a room with a bay window. By organizing seating around its perimeter, you can complement the area with a round table.
3. Table top
The next option will help you save space in the kitchen. If the height of the window sill matches the height of the kitchen, it will not be difficult to connect them. This way you can tie parts of the kitchen set, and not interrupt it at the window.

This solution will become an alternative to the dining table and will save space in a compact kitchen.
