To solve the issue with storage, they donated part of the room. A separate dressing room was equipped on 3.5 m², and a niche for a wardrobe was made in the hallway. In addition, the kitchen was slightly expanded so that the refrigerator could freely enter it.

Aesthetically, they relied mainly on the style of modern classics. The hostess lives alone, the children have already grown up. She wanted to get a comfortable apartment, keeping some things dear to her heart.
Living room
The decoration was carried out mainly in calm beige tones. The floor has also been updated with a light wood grain laminate.
In place of the bulky closet, a separate dressing room was allocated. The sofa remained the same, but the chair was moved to the opposite corner so as not to clutter up the space.
The TV area opposite was decorated with brickwork. A niche for storing books and other things was organized under it.
Kitchen
The kitchen furniture remains the same as before the renovation. The apron was trimmed with tiles with asymmetric patterns, which diversified the palette of the room.
The wallpaper was also picked up in a calm, dark beige shade. The lines on them set a vertical vector, pulling the room up a little.
In the kitchen they solved the problem with the refrigerator. It was built into a specially designed niche. So we managed to accommodate all the functionality and not overload the space.
Hallway
A classic furniture group was placed in the entrance area and an elongated mirror was hung, visually slightly expanding the hallway.
A washing machine entered the corner through the wall from the refrigerator. The mini-laundry room, along with the household storage system above it, was hidden behind a thick curtain.
Bathroom
In the bathroom, the tiles were partially replaced and the seams were rubbed. The communications were sewn into the box, and the plumbing was left the same.
One of the walls was lined with mosaics. It was purchased at OBI. Dark details diversified the color scheme.
