Several months have passed since the release of the last material on plastic bottles. During this time, I managed to find several more applications, which I want to talk about in this article.
1. Greenhouse rope holder
So that during the garter of cultivated plants the rope does not get tangled under the feet, a special holder can be made for it. Such a device is placed on the greenhouse frame or longitudinal perches. The skein is placed in the neck of the bottle, and the end is threaded through the hole. In this position, the rope is easier to measure and cut. As the work progresses, the holder is re-hung or moved.
You only need scissors to create a fixture. The whole process will take less than 5 minutes. The volume of the bottle is selected depending on the size of the skein. The shape and color of the container does not matter.
Cut off the bottom of the bottle and cut out a long tongue about 4 cm wide. We retreat 1 cm from the beginning of the tongue and make a hole in it the size of a cork. The holder is ready. Now it remains to fill it with rope and hang it in the greenhouse.
2. Suspended drip irrigation
Suspended drip irrigation system will be useful in cases where there is no way to put or bury a container with water next to the plant. For example, if a flower crop grows in a flowerpot or hanging pot.
The system works as follows. The plastic bottle is filled with water for irrigation and closes tightly. A small hole is made in the lid into which a self-tapping screw is screwed. The container with water is turned over and hung over the plant. The liquid gradually drips onto the soil and moisturizes the plant.
To prevent the drops from blurring the roots over time, you can put a small chip on the ground under the bottle.
3. Mini greenhouse for potted plants
Plastic bottles of different sizes can be used to make individual greenhouses for potted plants. Air exchange in such mini greenhouses is regulated by means of a cover. The devices not only keep you warm, but also protect you from wind and pests. This is especially true when the plants are on an open veranda or in a gazebo.
The mini greenhouse is easily removable, which allows you to water and care for plants without unnecessary hassle. If the diameter of the bottle is much smaller than the diameter of the pot, watering can be done on the ground without removing the structure.
Remember to regularly ventilate the greenhouse to avoid condensation.
4. Insect protection for plates
If you have a summer kitchen, an open veranda or a gazebo in your country house, then you are definitely faced with the problem of protecting food from insects. Purchased caps are not always at hand, so the problem can be solved using a six-liter plastic canister. We just cut off the neck, open the lid and cover the plate of food.
To avoid condensation, several small holes can be drilled in the canister walls. The easiest way to do this is with a hot needle.

I recently got groups In contact with and Classmates, there I post announcements of new materials every day.
