The summer season is in full swing, so I continue with a selection of useful and cheap tools that will be useful to any gardener. All products that are described in the article have a cost of less than 100 rubles.
1. Supports for plants
Twigs or slingshots can be used to support small plants, or special supports can be purchased. They come in a wide variety of shapes and designs. Popular include straight tubes, spirals, and 3/4 bent twigs. So that the edges of the supports do not damage the plants during the wind, they are covered with plastic plugs.
Most of the poles are made of coated metal. Products are not afraid of the vagaries of the weather and have no expiration date. Less common are analogues made of durable plastic and even wood. They are less resistant to environmental influences, so they quickly deteriorate.
2. Tree support nozzle
To prevent the branches of garden trees from breaking under the weight of the fruit, they must be supported. For this purpose, stores sell stick and pole attachments. The products are plastic slingshots that hold small to medium sized branches down.
The design distributes the weight so that most of it falls on the pole. Do not be afraid that the slingshot will break in half. The product is designed for heavy loads.
The durable plastic from which the attachments are made is not afraid of physical damage. It can be stored in an unheated room in winter.
3. garden lamp
Small solar-powered garden lights are designed to guide you in the dark. Usually, they mark the path to the toilet, summer kitchen or greenhouse. They are not able to illuminate the path, but they greatly help to navigate in the dark.
The main feature of such lamps is their autonomy. They do not need to be plugged into the mains or replaced with batteries. They are powered by energy generated by solar panels during the day. A small battery is enough for smooth operation throughout the night.
Solid branded lamps can last more than 10 years. Budget counterparts do not differ in durability, however, in the first few seasons, almost no one encounters problems.
4. Landing cone
Limiting yourself to the amount indicated at the very beginning of the article, you can buy a good landing cone. It will be a plastic tool for creating depressions of different diameters. The product will greatly simplify the planting of seeds, bulbs and tender seedlings.
The handle is made in such a way as to distribute pressure over the entire surface of the palm. There will be no marks and bruises on your hands even after long-term work with dense soil.
The tool has a sharp tip that reduces pressure and allows you to create small indentations for planting seeds.
5. Pumpkin stand
Along with supports for strawberry bushes, in stores you can find stands for pumpkins, squash and zucchini. The devices are made of durable plastic and are capable of withstanding fruits weighing more than 10 kg. The mesh structure is air permeable, does not retain moisture and prevents condensation.
The plastic from which the coasters are made is elastic enough to bend under the shape of a large fruit. Such products do not leave marks and prints.
