I work as a plumber. For a long time he worked with water metering devices. I call them differently water meters, water meters, flow meters. During this time, a great store of knowledge has been accumulated related to them.
Recently I was approached and asked to give a lecture among workers (controllers) of housing and communal services on the following issues:
- How do people cheat on water meters?
- How to find out that a subscriber is stealing water?
- Why do the counters break down?
- How do magnets affect metering devices?
And many other questions to which I have answers.
I responded, had an hour conversation with them. As it turned out, many workers do not even know how to properly seal water meters so that there is no water theft. And there the idea arose to write a manual for water meters in the housing and utilities sector. Let it be an unspoken, cognitive instruction. Written in plain language, with good photographs. Naturally, I do not plan to deal with paper media. But I'm thinking of spreading all the material on the Yandex Zen platform.
