I decided to repeat a simple homemade product that I saw from a neighbor in the garage, from an old burned-out vacuum cleaner.
Getting started
To do this, I remove all unnecessary from it.
I remove the cover of the vacuum cleaner, wheels, dust bag, hose.
You need to get to the inside of the vacuum cleaner. To do this, I disassemble the case and look at the giblets.
Remove the engine and extra covers from the inside. We need a wire that is an extension cord, I will upgrade it.
To do this, attach a tee to one end of the extension cord, where the plug was. And to the wire with a free end, inside the vacuum cleaner, I will mount a plug. I took the wire from an old kettle.
Wiring was carried out using terminal blocks and heat shrink tape, the ends were insulated with blue electrical tape.
The tee itself was mounted on the wire coming out of the vacuum cleaner. This did not cause any difficulties.
Next, you need to put back the cover of the vacuum cleaner for a better appearance.
It remains to hang our vacuum cleaner on the wall, drill two holes and mount it near the switchboard.
I hung the extension cord on the wall. It looks strange. But as it turned out to be very practical, this extension cord reaches any corner of my garage. Naturally, such an extension cord should not be heavily loaded since the wire cross-section is 0.75 mm. I was very pleased with such a homemade product. None of the wires will now prevent me from moving easily and simply around the garage.
