I recently managed to purchase a battery renovator from a well-known company. The cost of a set with two 4 Ah batteries and a fast charger was more than 20,000 rubles. Expensive, in fact this is my official monthly salary (I work as a plumber). Many will be outraged and say: "There are cheaper analogs, why take such an expensive one ..." And perhaps they will be right. But I have an idea related to saving on a line of cordless tools. But I'll tell you about it at the end of the article.

Renovator

I ordered this tool in the online store. You can see the complete set and appearance in picture gallery, leaf through.

This model has a quick release function for attachments. No keys needed. It is possible to adjust the amount of vibration.

a brief description of Makita DTM51Z :

The case with the accumulators contained two Akum of 4 Ah. 18 v. quick charger with built-in cooler. Makita Model 198310-8. Batteries in this series have a charge indicator. Which is convenient when planning working hours.

Tests

Plywood

I'll make a reservation right away. I have no experience of using this "toy". The first thing I decided to do was cut a square, in durable, moisture-resistant plywood. We leaf through the photos.

I am surprised by the performance, no other tool, a hole of this shape, in such a short time could not have made.

Metal

I decided to cut off the nail, not like a grinder in speed, but in a hard-to-reach place it will probably help out.

For those who love video format, see: 20,000 vibrations per second. The work of the renovator in accelerated shooting. 960 frames per second.

Plastic

Since this device copes with metal, then it just spits on the plastic. Sometimes such a device is simply not replaceable, for example, if it is necessary to cut a pipe with a tightly welded coupling. In this case, scissors are bad helpers, since they cannot cut near the wall. You have to either heat and scrape. Or they are tormented by a hacksaw blade. The plumbers will understand me. The renovator is just a godsend in this situation.

Scrolling through:

They also have no problems, you can cut off the rusty bolts between the cistern and the toilet when replacing the fittings. And many, many other uses ...

Why did I cough

In China, one manufacturer has a line of tools that is cheaper than the Makita brand. They are rumored to have interchangeable batteries. The other day I ordered an electric saw from him. I hope the rumors are true and you can safely order the instrument cheaper than the Japanese brand. But at the same time, Akum will be suitable for each other.

Who cares, you can see the price of the renovator in the All Instruments store link.

I hope you found it interesting and informative. From SW. Timofey Mikhailov.
