Recently I had a "friend" and an assistant on the farm. Mini high pressure washer. Wash the car? No problem. It is easy to clean the paths and any contaminated material, be it a wall or carpet. And many other tasks that are difficult to solve without a mini-wash
I got curious. What pressure does my pet give out? For this I ordered a high pressure gauge. The measuring range of this device is from 0 bar to 250.
It remains to connect it to the sink trigger. To do this, I went to the sales center for accessories for high pressure washers and bought an adapter. I got a brass one (just right), from a sandblasting nozzle. I forgot to photograph it separately, I had to enlarge the photo with a general plan to show it to you.
On one side it has a thread into which we will screw the pressure gauge.
But in order to get a working node, for further manipulations with it. I decided to assemble just such a structure. Pre-disassembled the old measuring device from the sprayer, don’t believe it? He did this, and he pressed up to 16 bar. (a link to it will be at the end of the article)
Used in this unit adapters, tee, ball valve "bugati" withstanding pressure up to 64 atmospheres. All rolled up on fum tape. Look what happened:
On the one hand, we connect it to the gun, and on the other hand, the outlet is regulated by a tap. I connected it to the pistol and with shaking hands, having put on protective goggles, pulled the trigger of the trigger.
I will say right away that it was scary. With such pressures, with self-made units, I have not worked yet. After pressing the button, not immediately, the pump hummed. The pressure jumped sharply to 120 atmospheres on the pressure gauge, and then dropped a little. You see the result in the photo:
As soon as I recorded the final figures in the photo, I released the pressure. 120 bar of pressure was accurate, the device does not pump higher due to the operation of the automation in the device or low voltage in the network of our gardening partnership. I plan to pump this pressure into ordinary polypropylene pipes, let's see how they can withstand such pressure.
Warning: Do not under any circumstances repeat these steps described in the article, the equipment of the mini-wash, in particular the "pistol", may fail.
