When you use a grinder to cut concrete, you inevitably come across huge clouds of dust that the cutting tool creates. Thick mineral dust not only interferes with the work process, but can also pose a threat to the craftsman. Of course, safety goggles should be used, but even so, dust is a serious problem that should be eliminated.
What you need: overhead loop, self-tapping screws for metal are short, screw with M3 nut, sewer pipe bend 50 mm at 45 or 67 degrees, rubber reduction on the drain pipe 50 mm.
In order to be able to safely work with concrete, the grinder can be equipped with an additional homemade protective guide cover. It will significantly reduce the amount of ceramic dust flying in all directions. First of all, we attach a loop to the bottom of the existing protective casing. To do this, you will have to make a suitable hole in the casing. The two structural members are connected with a bolt and nut. Remember that the disc must not touch the protruding screw and nut.
In the second (still free) part of the loop, a knee is screwed. It is fixed with two metal screws. Previously, a slot should be made in the knee for the grinder's blade. You can make a groove using the same grinder. Next, a prepared bell should be connected to the knee, and a vacuum cleaner should be connected to it.

This design is ideal for 125 mm tools. If we are talking about a more massive grinder, then the design of the casing will have to be redesigned for the appropriate dimensions and blade diameter. Overall, however, the principle remains unchanged. The only drawback of the device is that the casing made is suitable only for certain disks.

The vacuum cleaner can not be connected to a homemade casing, but then the efficiency of the system will be slightly lower.
