Dear friends, hello!
We made a variety of crafts from cardboard, and today I want to share with you what kind of house for a cat we made from a cardboard box.
It is done very simply, no expensive materials are required, just a little time and you're done!
For manufacturing you will need:
· Medium-sized cardboard box;
· Marker, scissors, ruler, knife, brush;
· Hot glue and PVA glue;
· Remains of any wallpaper;
· Wide tape;
· Acrylic paints;
· Decoupage napkins;
I want to notice right away that during the manufacture of the house there was no glue or paint inside, only outside. So there is no smell of glue or paint in the house. Our cat accepted the new home with great interest and was happy. But, not for all cats such a house is suitable, some, for some reason, categorically do not want to sleep in such a house.
Step 1.
We mark the box lids with a marker, as shown in the photo and cut off the excess. We glue.
Step 2.
We glue all corners with tape for greater strength.
Step 3.
Glue another layer of cardboard to the bottom.
Step 4.
We mark and cut out the entrance to the house.
Step 5.
We paste over the house outside with wallpaper. We glue on PVA.
Step 6.
We take our favorite decoupage napkin, tear out the fragments and glue it to the front of the house.
Step 7.
We paint the whole house with acrylic paint.
Step 8.
Cut out the roof from the cardboard and paste over it with wallpaper.
We paint the roof and glue it in its place.
Step 9.
We glue a tube from the wallpaper, paint it black and glue it to the roof.
The house is ready. We put batting inside and invited our kitty to evaluate. She approved.
