Greetings, dear readers!
I want to show you how from almost any plate, even chipped, you can make a wonderful decor for your home. You won't need any expensive materials, only the desire to create and a little time.
What materials are needed?
· Any flat plate;
· Thinner or nail polish remover;
· Acrylic paints;
· Printed picture from the Internet;
· PVA glue and hot glue;
· Regular napkins;
· Brushes, sponge;
· Acrylic lacquer;
· Any tape and piece of wine cork.
We used a regular porcelain plate that was slightly cracked and slightly chipped. These defects will disappear after decoration.
Step 1.
Wipe the plate with a solvent and prime with acrylic paint. It is convenient to apply the paint to the plate with a piece of sponge.
Step 2.
We take the printout we like and cut out the desired fragment of the picture. We glue the picture in the center of the plate on PVA diluted with water in half.
Step 3.
We tear the napkins into pieces, wrinkle them and glue them on a plate around the picture. A crack and a chip will hide here.
We leave everything to dry for 8-12 hours.
Step 4.
We paint napkins with acrylics. Light green at first.
Then, after the first coat of paint has dried, apply a slightly dark green color.
Finally, apply a bronze color along the border.
You can also use other colors that you like best.
Step 5.
We coat with acrylic water-based varnish 2 times.
Step 6.
On the back side, glue a loop of braid on hot glue and fix it with a piece from a wine cork.
The decor is ready.
