How often do newspapers accumulate in your home that have nowhere to go? Probably many. Today I will show you what you can make useful for your home out of old newspapers. And making this craft is not very difficult.
For manufacturing you will need:
· Several old newspapers;
· Stationery knife, scissors;
· Wooden skewer;
· Stationery glue and hot glue;
· Any object of a square shape;
· Clothespins;
· Acrylic paints and acrylic varnish;
Step 1.
We take a sheet of newspaper, fold it in half lengthwise and cut it with a knife. Then fold it again and cut it again.
From 1 sheet you get 4 stripes.
Step 2.
Using a skewer (or knitting needle), twist the paper tubes. It's not very difficult, if you don't know how at all, then YouTube has a lot of videos on this topic.
Step 3.
We flatten the tubes with scissors and begin to twist them into a wheel using a square object. Then, removing it from the object, we give the paper a more square shape.
Step 4.
We also cut strips from the newspaper and fold them several times along and glue them. We cut a long strip into short, 5-7 centimeters.
Step 5.
We glue the twisted tubes with strips together. To prevent the structure from falling apart, we temporarily fasten it with clothespins.
Step 6.
We glue together, as shown in the photo and leave to dry for at least 12 hours.
Step 7.
After everything is dry, put everything together using hot glue.
Step 8.
We paint with acrylic paint and after drying we cover with varnish.
Step 9.
We have glued some rhinestones, but this is optional.
A beautiful and convenient basket is ready.
