Plastic bottles are cheap materials for various crafts and homemade products. In addition to universal accessibility, it is also convenient to work with them and give them a different shape. I mean, not by heating, but by transformation.
Today I will show you how to make a useful thing for a country kitchen or a country house from one large bottle and several smaller ones. The craft is very simple, but functional. In principle, it can be used not only in the kitchen, but, for example, in the workshop.
For making, I used:
· Plastic bottle 5 liters;
· Several 1 liter bottles with a wide neck;
· Knife, scissors, marker, hacksaw for metal, sandpaper;
· Hot glue and polymer glue "Titan";
· Nail polish remover;
· Aerosol paint in a can;
· Wavy ribbon and self-adhesive beads;
· Superglue minute.
It took me very few purchased materials, 30 rubles, no more.
And the production took no more than 2 hours.
Step 1.
I marked the 5 liter bottle with a marker and cut off the excess part. Left only the bottom and top of the bottle.
Step 2.
I took 4 liter bottles and sawed off the necks with a hacksaw for metal. I also sawed off part of the neck of a 5 liter bottle.
Step 3.
I processed the sawn-off necks with sandpaper.
Step 4.
To the top of a large bottle, I put a sawed-off neck and circled the places with a marker, which I then carefully cut out with a knife.
Step 5.
I glued the necks into the resulting holes with hot glue.
Step 6.
Glued together both parts of a 5 liter bottle with polymer glue.
Step 7.
I wiped the bottle with nail polish remover and painted it with spray paint.
Step 8.
I glued the wavy tape at the junction of the halves. And also glued the beads on the neck.
The result is such an organizer for spoons and forks.
As I wrote at the beginning of the article, this organizer can be used not only in the kitchen.
The organizer is very stable, and when the spoons are in it, the center of gravity is very low. You can safely wash it.
