We turn a plastic bucket into a useful and wonderful thing for the house

Friends, hello!

After the repair, several plastic buckets remained, one of which we decided to turn into a wonderful and useful thing for the house. We have a primer bucket, but you can also use from mayonnaise or others.

For work we needed:

· Plastic bucket;

· Plaster bandage (without it);

· Sandpaper, knife, nail polish remover;

· Normal and 1 decoupage napkins;

· PVA glue, hot glue;

· Openwork braid;

· Acrylic paints and acrylic varnish.

Plaster bandage is sold in a pharmacy, but not in every one, if necessary, you can find it. This is not an expensive bandage, we pay 40-50 rubles per roll. Not to be confused with an expensive bandage, which costs almost 400 rubles.

Step 1.

Cut off the top rim of the bucket. This is not difficult to do with a clerical knife.

Step 2.

We process the bucket with sandpaper (we scratch it well), then wipe it with a nail polish remover or solvent.

Step 3.

We cut the plaster bandage into strips or squares, as you prefer. After moistening the bandage in cold water, glue it onto the bucket.

If you want you to get a very durable product, then you can stick 2-3 layers. Leave to dry for 12 hours.

Step 4.

On the top of the plaster bandage, glue ordinary crumpled napkins on diluted PVA glue and leave to dry for 1-2 hours.

Step 5.

From the decoupage napkin with our hands, namely with our hands, we pull out the desired fragment and glue it onto a bucket on PVA. We leave everything to dry for 24 hours.

Why with hands? Yes, because when the edges are torn, they are completely invisible when gluing the fragment.

Step 6.

Using a circle cut from regular office paper, draw a circle on the bucket as a template.

Step 7.

We glue the lace braid in a circle on hot glue.

Step 8.

First, we paint with white acrylic paint, and when it dries up, we slightly go through gold.

Step 9.

We cover with acrylic varnish.

Here is such a wonderful flower pot.

There are water holes there.
