It is forbidden to fry barbecue in the country, to burn fires and leaves too. And what about us after January 1?

  • Dec 19, 2020

We are all looking forward to the end of 2020, hoping that the next year will be better and brighter. Not so, my friends. Our state has already announced restrictions that will come into force on January 1, 2021. They concern the owners of private households. In the new year, it will not be possible to burn foliage, make fires and even barbecue on your own plot.

It is forbidden to fry barbecue in the country, to burn fires and leaves too. And what about us after January 1?

You can check the new restrictions in Fire safety rulesacting on the territory of our vast homeland. Previously, summer residents were not "pinched" like that. They could only burn the trash and turn the site into a dump of combustible materials. Well, one shouldn't forget about mowing the grass.

It was allowed to burn foliage and branches, but no one talked about kebabs at all. What area can you imagine today without a barbecue?

Apparently, the government decided that summer residents live too freely. Starting next year, land owners who have violated the new rules will be forced to pay a fine of 2 to 3 thousand rubles.

Let's try to delve into these restrictions more closely.

The rules say that in the areas that are within the boundaries of the settlement, you cannot burn fires, cook any food on an open fire (special places must be equipped for this), burn foliage, grass, waste etc.

It seems like barbecue on the site cannot be fried, but if you have a specially designated place for this, then it seems possible. What kind of place is this?

There is a section in the rules describing how you can use open fire on the territory of a settlement. It says that it is possible to make fires for the purpose of cooking only in non-combustible containers, to which include braziers, barbecues, etc. In this case, the fire should be located from structures and buildings at a distance of at least 5 meters.

It turns out that the law does not prohibit us from frying kebabs on the site or in the yard of the house. The main thing is that the barbecue is not too close to any structure (house, barn, summer kitchen, garage).

Unfortunately my barbecue area is only 4 meters away from the guest house. It turns out that I need to move it a little. On reflection, I came to the conclusion that this is not so difficult to do. Better to work once than pay fines later.

If we figured it out with kebabs, then things are different with foliage. What to do with it? Can be bagged and disposed of. What to do with branches? Every year I cut a lot of them - these are roses, and grapes, and overgrown bushes.

Here's what came to my mind: I will put an iron barrel, of course, no closer than 5 meters from the house, in which I will burn the branches. So that there is no doubt that I am going to cook food, I will put a few raw potato tubers on the bottom of the barrel. So it turns out that I'm not burning fires, but cooking in a special container in a designated place!
