In the fall, my brother and wife went to St. Petersburg on the M-11 toll road. We decided to rent the transponder "for trial", for which we went to the only office in Moscow near the Avtozavodskaya metro station. There were many people there.
We went to St. Petersburg, accumulated 2000 points on the account, which in the future may give a 7% discount, and went to return the rented transponder to Avtozavodskaya. There were even more people than the first time, and the female employees said that there was no need to visit them anymore, there were also partners.
On New Years, they decided to take the toll roads again, this time south. Having assessed the comfort of travel through the gates of toll roads with a transponder, we decided to buy a personal one, not rent it. Remembering the words of the staff from Avtozavodskaya did not go to them to stand in line, but ordered from the official partner indicated on the first page of the list of these same partners.
My brother received the transponder, unpacked it and tried to link it to his personal account. But there is no button to bind a new transponder! Neither on the website nor in the app.
I contacted technical support, but they say it is impossible to bind a new transponder to the existing office. Why not is a mystery. But you can't. It is possible only if there was a queue at Avtozavodskaya.
And the accumulated points cannot be transferred to the new account.
It turned out that it was also impossible to register a new personal account: the phone number had already been used when registering the old account.
Support offers to register a personal account on someone else's number.
21st century, information technology, but the transponder for the phone number remains the same and forever, even if it was rented for several days.
P.S. Surely anything is possible. And bind a new transponder to your personal account, and transfer points, but it's easier for them to say that this is impossible than to do something. Here is such a Rasavtodor.
