However, in order not to harm home gardening, you should do everything very carefully and correctly.

Why a "hot shower" is useful for indoor plants

A “hot shower” for plants is the use of the warmest possible water when caring for green pets. It is important to properly adjust the temperature. It should be warm enough but not uncomfortable.

You should not be afraid that the plants will suffer. The droplets that have flown to the foliage are cooled by streams of oncoming air.

Important! During the flowering period of a houseplant, it is better not to expose it to any exotic procedures.

Benefits of a "hot shower"

Watering with warm water has the following positive effects:

  • cleansing stems and foliage from contamination. Clogged pores of domestic crops do not allow the plant to breathe properly, so it does not develop at full strength;
  • saturation of foliage with moisture;
  • hot streams of water - stimulator of the growth of fresh shoots and leaves;
  • warm water will perfectly cope with harmful organisms that cause diseases of indoor plants. This is a great preventative procedure;
  • strengthening and stimulating root growth, which is beneficial for the whole plant.

Usually the green mass of the plant is watered with a "hot shower". In summer, the procedure can be performed outdoors or on the balcony. The result of bathing will not keep you waiting. Within a few hours, pets will “take heart” and freshen up.

Who doesn't like to swim

Indoor plantings with voluminous and lush leaves adore water procedures. Watering also has a beneficial effect on the rest of the green pets. However, there are always exceptions to the rule.

These include:

  • indoor plants with downy foliage (eg violets). Bathing them is not forbidden, but this should be done infrequently and then dried thoroughly. Because the accumulated water droplets can cause damage to the leaves;
  • succulents with fleshy foliage (such as the dollar tree). They store moisture, storing it in the foliage in order to hold out for a long time without watering. Moisture saturation will signal the plant that there is excess water and the foliage will begin to fall off.

Such crops are bathed only in case of heavy pollution.

Hot shower rules

For bathing to be beneficial to a pet, the following rules should be observed:

  • on the day of water procedures, the culture should receive the usual amount of moisture, for this, the soil in the pot should be covered with waterproof material during bathing or the plant should be kept tilted;
  • the temperature of the bathing water should be correctly adjusted (40-60 degrees);
  • the duration of the procedure is no more than 30 seconds;
  • after bathing, dry the culture in a warm place without drafts.
You can repeat the water procedures monthly. Your pets will thank you for your care with a gorgeous look and fast growth.
