Often, after repairs, pieces of polypropylene pipes remain. Many shamelessly throw them away, while others put them in a shed or closet in case "what if it comes in handy." And this "useful" may come today. I propose to put polypropylene pipes into action - to build a convenient wall organizer out of them, into which various tools can be folded.
I use this myself, and therefore I advise you. The idea is very simple, absolutely any "homemade" can cope with the task.
Getting down to the process
Take a piece of polypropylene sewer pipe with a diameter of 32-40 mm, which you have somewhere "lying around". The trim length depends on your individual needs. In addition to the pipe, you will need screws, two clips and some more tools. Which ones - I'll tell you along the way.
Initially, we draw a straight line on the pipe. The building level will help with this. Place the tool on any suitable surface, attach the pipe to it, and use a pencil to draw a straight line.
Next, you need to outline where you will drill. I made 4 centimeters between the holes. See to your needs - you can indent more or less. Everything here is individual.
A wood drill is best suited for drilling a polypropylene pipe. It leaves fine, smooth holes. I first tried a metal drill, but it melts the plastic and leaves jagged edges.
After the preparatory work, proceed to drilling. You choose the diameter of the drill yourself, I used a 10 mm one.
The result is a structure that resembles a flute. This is the organizer. It remains to find a suitable place for him on the wall. Using the level, mark the locations for the clips. It is desirable that the pipe hangs evenly, but a slight distortion will not greatly affect its functionality.
Completion
Screw the clips onto the wall, insert the organizer into them and place screwdrivers and other suitable tools in it.
In my opinion, it looks very cute and pretty. In fact, it is really convenient, screwdrivers are no longer lost, but hang in their places. If necessary, the organizer can be lengthened by attaching another pipe to it and extending it.
Note that I used a sewer pipe with a diameter of 40 millimeters. I think this is the most suitable diameter, but you can experiment. Tell us later what happened!
