People are capable of extraordinary things, of course, if there is a desire. And when creative individuals have also the resources they can realize any dream. For example, to give life to old and abandoned ZIL-157, making it literally piles of scrap metal into something really cool. This is what happened in this case.
This old, broken and half-rotten ZIL-157 quietly lived out his life in the midst of a snow-covered field. The car belonged to the pensioner, who for a long time it did not use. According to the owner, the car engine would not start for years. In disrepair came almost the whole fuel system. Last time the car refueled with diesel fuel - despite the fact that under the hood of the ZIL-157 was a petrol engine of 6.5 liters and output of 104 horsepower.
When the car got into the right hands, the first thing the master got rid of the booth in its design. The garage has begun full-scale repair rarity truck. Replace the pump, starter, lights - literally everything that was under the hood, in the bottom and on the body. Indeed, by the time the car is almost rotted.
Only a few weeks of hard work the whole team of artists turned the car to start again. Most of the units has been replaced. Parallel with this was cleaning and restoration work of the body. also had to be replaced almost everything in the cabin.
When restoration work was almost finished, began painting in the vehicle color khaki. And the choice of Kolor was not a fluke, because instead of booth guys want to put on a ZIL launcher, recreating thus the legendary jet mortar "Katyusha". On the implementation of this project took 11 months of hard work. Now the machine is on the move, the old ZIL literally found a second life.
