Manufacturing and application

Sugar is a simple, cheap and effective fertilizer suitable for all kinds of plants. Getting into the soil along with water, the free-flowing ingredient breaks down into fructose and glucose. The latter element nourishes the culture and gives it the energy for fast and healthy growth. It is important to remember that in order to feed the plants with granulated sugar, carbon dioxide must be present in sufficient quantities. Otherwise, there is a risk of developing putrefactive processes in the root system.

For the manufacture of fertilizer, you need to dilute 1 tbsp. l. sugar in 0.5 liters of settled water. If there is no desire or time to prepare the mixture, then it is enough to pour a spoonful of sweet powder under the plant, and then water it in the usual way. In order to avoid the occurrence of putrefactive processes, it is recommended to additionally use the preparation "Baikal EM-1", strictly following the instructions. Sugar dressing should not be used more than once a month.

Coffee is another budget option for feeding crops. After each cup of ground coffee drunk, the grounds are not thrown away, but poured under the plant and gently mixed with the top layer of soil. Fertilizer increases the content of oxygen and other nutrients in the soil, which have a beneficial effect on flower growth. However, the thick increases the level of acidity of the substrate, so it should be used with caution.

Before using coffee grounds, you should make sure that this type of feeding is suitable for each of the plants being grown. This fertilizer is very popular with roses, azaleas, hydrangeas, lilies and heather. Also, coffee is suitable for some garden crops: tomatoes, carrots, radishes, strawberries and blueberries.

There is no need to rush to throw away the tea leaves - this is another effective means for plant nutrition. The principle of application is no different from coffee grounds. Tea helps to loosen the earth, but small black flies may appear. Experienced gardeners do not recommend using this method often.

One of the most effective homemade feeding products - yeast - contains a huge the amount of phytohormones, auxins and B vitamins, which contribute to enhanced cell division plants. To prepare the mixture, it is enough to add 20 g of pressed yeast and 30 g of sugar in 2 liters of settled water. It is recommended to slightly warm the solution to quickly dissolve the components. After the liquid becomes homogeneous, it needs to be infused for 2-3 hours. Before use, dilute the finished fertilizer with 5 liters of water. Then you can start the irrigation procedure. It is advisable to use top dressing all summer, 3 times a month. In winter and autumn, the number of procedures is reduced to 1 time per month.

Good recommendations have earned themselves top dressing of lemon, tangerine, orange or banana peel. To prepare the infusion, you will need finely chopped zest, which is poured with 1 liter of water. After boiling water is added, and the mixture is infused for a day.

When using a banana peel, you will need twice as much water. The tool is used once a month.

Ground and dried fruit waste is an excellent fertilizer. First, they are ground with a coffee grinder or food processor, and then added to the soil. After a while, the process of decay begins, due to which useful microelements are released that feed the soil. The plant begins to develop rapidly, but the gardener can only rejoice and admire.
