This type of phlox belongs to the category of low-growing crops, the height of which does not exceed 15-20 cm. Miniature plants prefer well-lit areas with drained, moderately moist soil.

In this group, subulate phlox deserve special attention, differing not only in the shape of the petals, but also in abundant long flowering. Some varieties (under ideal conditions) form buds until frost.

Candy Stripes

The ground cover culture has a memorable color of flowers: snow-white petals are lined with bright pink wide stripes. The middle of the bud is decorated with dark purple spots. An unpretentious frost-resistant plant prefers open areas with light drained soil.

Red Wings

The rapidly growing plant is highly resilient. Red wings easily endure the vagaries of the weather. Even in unfavorable conditions, these phloxes bloom violently and for a long time. Low bushes up to 20 cm high all summer cover the ground with a bright red blanket.

Airlie spring blue

This phlox has become popular due to its ultra-early flowering. Its buds of a delicate lilac hue open in mid-spring (April). A scented carpet of many flowers covers the ground for one to two months.

Spread out

The main advantage of this variety is minimal maintenance. A fragrant plant with a height of 20 to 40 cm prefers areas with good lighting or partial shade.

Small, disheveled inflorescences with petals of buds narrowed towards the center can be painted in a variety of shades: pale blue, lilac, pale pink, snow-white. Compact bushes thrive on loose, moderately moist soil.

Blue dream

A shade-tolerant culture with pale blue flowers feels great even under the canopy of shrubs and trees. In addition, it easily propagates by layering and does not need special care. A blue dream is enough moderate watering and standard fertilizing.

White perfume

The rapidly growing bushes of White Perfume feel comfortable even under the shade of trees and tall bushes. The persistent aroma of snow-white flowers attracts pollinating insects to the site. A compact plant (up to 30 cm in height) is planted along the garden paths and bordered by flower beds.
