Good afternoon, my reader. Recently, experimentally, I found an effective remedy for late blight for my plants - a tinder fungus, aka chaga. It was this parasitic fungus that helped me to cope with the infection, while other remedies did not work.

You can find a tinder fungus in autumn in any forest by going to the trunk of a dead tree and collecting outgrowths of ash-brown color from there. The latest dates for collecting tinder fungus are November-December. In addition to late blight, tinder fungus also effectively fights cladosporia and other fungal diseases.
The principle of the tinder fungus
The principle of the tinder fungus is based not on the destruction of the infection process, but on raising plant resistance to disease so that green spaces can fight bacteria themselves, fungi and viruses. Polypore is a storehouse of useful biostimulant acids, including acetic and oxalic acids, as well as tannins and trace elements.
Tinder fungus is completely safe for humans, therefore, the fruits of plants treated with tinder fungus can be safely eaten after washing under running water.
When choosing a tinder fungus, you should prioritize young mushrooms, and from old ones you should take only a hat. In the middle, the tinder fungus necessarily has a white color scheme. It is necessary to collect tinder fungus only on living trees - the therapeutic effect of such chaga is much higher than that of the one that grows on dried ones.
You can knock down the growths of tinder fungus from the trunk with an ax or a thick stick, and the pulp must be cut into pieces and dried. You can stock up on chaga in advance to spray diseased plants for prevention.
How to use a tinder fungus
If you notice the first signs of a fungal disease on your plants, you must immediately prepare a solution of tinder fungus. For this purpose, dried chaga must be ground in a meat grinder, food processor or blender. As a last resort, you can use an ordinary, well-sharpened knife and finely chop the dry pulp with it.
We take a tinder fungus at the rate of 90-100 g of mass per liter of boiling water. Next, fill the pulp with water and send it to infuse for 10-12 hours, wrapping the jar with the composition with a rag made of dense fabric. The finished infusion must be filtered through cheesecloth and sprayed with the plants through a spray bottle.
Plants need to be sprayed late in the evening in dry and calm weather, as soon as the sun sets, so that the leaves do not have sunburn. It is also important that it does not rain at night, otherwise it will wash away all the solution. The procedure should be carried out twice a week until the signs of the fungus disappear.
For prophylaxis, the tincture must be applied until the plants begin to bloom, repeating the procedure every two weeks and until the fruits are poured. When new leaves appear from the bottom of tomatoes, they must be immediately treated with a solution of chaga, since the lower shoots are most susceptible to fungus.
Tinder fungus solution can be used in open ground, as well as in greenhouses and hotbeds.
Once the crop is harvested, dry chaga can be spread over the beds and mixed with the soil. This is an excellent means of prevention, since phytophthora move into the ground for the winter.
