When the first spring sun begins to bake, everyone begins to rejoice: people, animals, birds. Summer residents are especially happy. However, the first rays of the sun can be deceiving, because as soon as they hide behind a cloud, a noticeable frost sets in. Even those plants that are "heated" in greenhouses can die from such sudden temperature changes.
We are not insured against such surprises of nature either in April or in May. Is there a solution to this problem? βOf course there isβ - I will answer you!
To prevent the plants from freezing in greenhouses, some gardeners install electric heaters. Yes, these devices warm up the greenhouse well, but they consume just a lot of electricity.
Those who do not have the funds to pay their electricity bills, or those who do not have electricity supplied to the site, can use an elementary device. Today I will teach you how to make it with your own hands in a matter of minutes.
First, find a suitable tin can, for example, green peas, corn, olives, etc. The main thing is that the bank is vertical.
We will use a candle as a hearth. You will also need a bucket and sunflower oil. I note that it is not necessary to buy a new bucket, the one that was probably lying around in the barn is quite suitable, even if it is full of holes. The holes in the bucket, on the contrary, will be useful to us, so if they are absent, you will have to make the holes yourself.
Place the candle in a tin can and fill it with oil. Cover the structure with a bucket on top.
Do not forget to leave a gap between the bucket and the floor, otherwise the flame will die out without air flow. Holes must be made on top of the bucket through which heat will escape.
Two such constructions with a candle are capable of heating a greenhouse with an area of ββ18 square meters. If someone can drag away the electrical appliances, then they are unlikely to get used to such heaters. Don't forget to add oil to the jar!
