Good afternoon, dear guests and subscribers of the "Build for Myself" channel!
Spring! In the Rostov region, we have already established an average temperature of +5 ° C, it is impossible to break through to tire changers, all motorists are in queues to change their shoes, and summer residents and gardeners are putting things in order in their plots: they paint, smear, clean, spray and dig up.
We are also among the latter, we need to prepare the yard, there are a lot of plans for this year. The other day I went to the building store and bought a brown primer-enamel paint to match the color of the front brick, like once to paint our, slightly peeled off paint and burnt out in the sun for several years, gas pipe.
"You can't do that, the first gasman who sees this miracle will fine you!" - shouted a neighbor, who saw his wife, standing on a stepladder, paint a pipe with a brush.
In fact, among the homeowners, the opinion was fixed that the gas pipe should be exactly yellow, but why?
Previously, there were safety rules for gas distribution systems
(PB 12-529-03), which were dated by the date of entry into force - 2003, and at the current moment, it turns out, they have already been canceled. They were canceled a very long time ago by order of Rostekhnadzor, namely in 2013, i.e. 8 years ago. These rules just earlier regulated the yellow color of the above-ground part of the gas pipeline running through the section.Today, the Code of Rules for Gas Distribution Systems (Gas distribution systems) under the number SP 62.13330.2011 * (Updated edition of SNiP 42-01-2002), which in no way regulates the color of the gas pipeline, passing over a privately owned site, and even more so if the pipe runs along the walls of buildings located on plot.
In addition to everything, at the moment there is no other document that would establish the rules for the color of the gas pipeline, passing on the territory of private property, which cannot be said about the main lines running along the boundary of sections and pipelines on industrial objects.
For production areas, the signaling color of the gas pipeline must be yellow, which tells us GOST 14202-69 "Industrial pipelines". This is done so that among a dozen pipes it would be possible to say unambiguously that this is gas, and this is water, and over there there is acid!
Table from GOST 14202-69:
Therefore, if you have private property, then the gas pipeline located on your site may be repainted in any color other than yellow and no gas service will be able to prescribe you unjustified fine.
That's all, thanks for your attention! I hope this information was useful to you!
