The owners of private country houses should understand me now. Familiar with the problem when a septic tank well overflows every few months? As a result, the wastewater does not go to filtration. You have to spend about 12-15 thousand rubles annually to pump waste out of the pit.
What options have I not tried! I bought miracles, biogranules, magic bacteria, etc. The manufacturers of these drugs promised that I could get rid of the problem, but alas and ah. Even double servings didn't help.
I know that septic tanks need to be cleaned, so I have already washed the wells with a hose three times using high pressure water. But it's all in vain.
Salvation came unexpectedly in the face of a "burned out" sewer truck. When he heard how I was tormented, he suggested a cunning option. The flusher promised that my problem would be solved and asked for a ridiculous amount - only 500 rubles.
It is known that bacteria in septic tanks are used to process solid particles. As a result, sludge is formed, which clogs the holes for draining the liquid. When there is too much of it, the practicality of the capacity is reduced to zero.
Some organizations provide such a service as cleaning holes, and this pleasure costs as much as 5 thousand rubles. Frankly, there is an effect of the procedure, the hole has to be pumped out much less often.
The flusher suggested that I wash the hole, i.e. to wash out the silt sediment formed at the bottom. Solid deposits on the walls can still be somehow removed with a strong pressure of water, but things are more complicated with the bottom.
He performed the procedure in this way:
- 1. First, I pumped out all the drains from the pit.
- 2. When the bottom of the pit became visible, the flusher switched the vacuum pump to reverse operation, i.e. into drain mode.
- 3. The drains returned to the pit.
- 4. Since they were supplied with great pressure, they broke up all the silt formed at the bottom.
Honestly, the pressure was such that I was even worried if the pit could withstand. Solid sediment, grease and debris immediately rose from the bottom. Having poured the drains back, the driver turned on the pumping mode again. As a result, all the garbage followed the drains into the sewer tank.
So it turned out that for 500 rubles I received a service worth 5 thousand rubles. The drainage and absorbency of the pit improved, and the number of beneficial bacteria in it increased.
For some, this procedure may be disgusting. The smell, to be honest, is such that the eyes are already watering. But it's worth it!
I only had 2 pumpings of the pit in a year, although before I did it at least 5 times. Now I regularly ask the flusher to wash. This life hack is already used by all my friends and neighbors.
