In fairness, it should be clarified that this model is not so unique. In fact, Lada 1300 ES is an export modification of the legendary "kopeck". Supplied the car for the UK market. Lada 1300 ES had a number of features that it was equipped with: right-hand drive, original body color, and also a vinyl roof. Cars of type 2107 were often exported to the countries of the capitalist world under the NOVA index. However, unlike the same Lada 1300 ES, this car, in fact, has not undergone major changes, and the other name is just a marketing ploy. However, a slightly modified car was still delivered abroad - it turned out in some form a sports version, with a new body kit, a rear wing and a rear bumper. But according to the technical characteristics, the car did not receive any changes.

The model Lada Niva Plein Soleil in the domestic literature is called in a somewhat revised translation - "Ray of the Sun", although literally it will rather sound like "full of the sun". This export modification of the famous Niva was produced for the French market. It was for their consumer that the back of the roof was cut. True, this became the reason for the decrease in the rigidity of the body, but here the French themselves additionally strengthened it.

Perhaps the most striking example of a Soviet export cabriolet car is the brainchild of a Soviet-Belgian project known as the Lada Natasha. In fact, the car is a modification of the usual figure eight. However, the history of this car was short-lived, because it began at the end of the Soviet Union. So, the machines were presented in 1990, and small-scale production has been launched since 1991. Before the collapse of the USSR, only 456 copies of VAZ convertibles were produced. However, even today they can be bought if desired, and the small number of the series did not prove to be a hindrance.

Not deprived of Soviet exports and sunny Italy. In this case, this process is associated with the Martoreli brothers - the racers who once decided to take a Soviet GAZ for a rally. They believed in the potential of the Soviet automobile industry and decided to establish their implementation in Italy. The choice fell on the legendary UAZ, on which diesel engines with a capacity of 76 to 112 hp were installed for export modification. In addition, UAZ By Martorelly was distinguished by bright shades of painting, the presence of a power steering, and even more comfortable seats in salon.
