Last year I saw my neighbor trying to breed dandelions. Then it seemed to me that this idea was initially a failure. However, in the current season, I have not noticed a single weed on the neighboring plot. To say that I was surprised is to say nothing.
I immediately rushed to my neighbor to ask her for a "magic recipe". Fortunately, she turned out to be not a greedy person, and therefore shared an excellent life hack with me. And today I will tell you about this wonderful recipe. I think many people will find it useful.
A huge plus is that you do not need any special ingredients to prepare the mixture, which you will not find on store shelves. I am sure that everything you need is in your kitchen. Let's move from words to deeds.
Take a jar and fill it with warm water. The amount of liquid depends on the area of your site. I have a large one (25 acres), so I usually dilute 2 - 2.5 liters of solution. I'll show you 500 ml of solution as an example. If you need more, do it proportionally.
- We take a jar of 500 ml.
- Next, you need a tablespoon of citric acid.
- Dilute it in warm water, and then add the same amount of salt to the same solution.
- Then take 70% acetic acid. It will also need 1 tablespoon.
Stir the mixture thoroughly.
The miracle solution is ready. Pour it into a spray bottle, if you use one. I prefer to use a different apparatus: see the photo below.
Spray the weeds liberally. It is best to do this in good weather, when the sun is shining and there is no strong wind. I recommend doing the procedure in the morning or in the evening.
