The choice of material will depend on how the room is used. For the dining room, thick, lint-free items that are easy to clean are suitable. The easiest way is with the living room and bedroom, here the choice is wide enough.
Please note that if there are allergy sufferers in the family, it is better to refuse woolen carpets. An alternative can be samples from bamboo silk, they are no less soft, but do not cause allergies, and are almost identical in cost to wool.
