Designers from the studio Special Style designed a 70 m² euro-apartment for a married couple. The task was to create an interior in a neutral color palette, without reference to a specific style. The snow-white finish was diluted with the addition of wood and stone textures.

  • total area: 70 m²
  • A place: Moscow
  • Number of rooms: euro two
  • Budget: 11 million rubles
  • Who lives here: married couple
  • Design Bureau: Special Style

The apartment is located in an old building, so there were problems with utilities. The front of the work was extensive - the gas stove was replaced with an electric one, and the bathroom was moved to the place of the former kitchen. Three rooms and a kitchen were transformed into a combined kitchen-living room with a bedroom and two dressing rooms. It was possible to agree on all the redevelopments due to the fact that the apartment is on the first floor.

Living room

The living room area was marked by the arrangement of furniture. Additional zoning was done with track lights on the ceiling and carpet on the floor. A niche with shelves was arranged near the window opening; it serves as a display rack.

The landscape outside the window turns windows into paintings.
This visual effect was achieved thanks to double-glazed windows with one sash.
They were draped with blinds and milky curtains to match the upholstery of the sofa, and the window sills were made of the same material as the countertop in the kitchen.

Kitchen

The kitchen was “packed” into a niche. The plasterboard structure on the ceiling conceals the hood. The set gives itself out only by panels on the facades. The tiles on the apron look like tiles. The sink was moved to the island to comply with the working triangle rule.

The doorway deserves special attention, it was expanded and framed with open shelves in which books are stored.
The entrance to the kitchen-living room looks more like a hall and seems to be a continuation of the hallway.
A plank table and chairs in fabric covers convey the mood of a country house.

Bedroom

Despite the prevailing white color, the interior of the bedroom does not look boring. This is facilitated by the "inclusion" of wood and textiles.

Particular attention was paid to decorative details - a fan on the ceiling, a panel at the head of the bed, lace bed linen.
All these elements complement each other, creating a lively and harmonious picture.
Part of the bedroom was fenced off to equip a dressing room. She was hidden behind a partition.

Bathroom

For the finishing of the bathroom, we chose large-format porcelain stoneware for concrete and white paint. The bathroom is located on the site of the former kitchen, so there is a window here.

The area of 11 m² allowed to fit everything you need - a sufficient number of storage systems, as well as a utility block with a washing machine.
All these characteristics, as well as the patterned rug on the floor, clearly contrasting with the decoration, made the room more like a room than a bathroom.
